RPM will train you to be efficient, effective & thus successful at the following: finding and screening tenants, processing rent payments, providing property inspections, facilitating maintenance & repairs, and processing evictions when necessary. A majority of properties managed are residential single family homes, however many franchises also manage other types of properties including apartment complexes, Home Owner Associations (HOAs), vacation rentals, and commercial properties. As the owner of your own business, you’ll sell your services to rental property owners and investors, work with real estate agents and others to gain business referrals, and manage your business and staff. History

Kirk McGary began working in property management over 30 years ago, and he and co-founder Doug Oler, started the first-ever property management franchise in 2005. Since then, hundreds of other entrepreneurs have joined the Real Property Management organization. Along the way, we have refined systems and processes, added new technologies, built best in class training systems, and created first class marketing tools and continue to lead the industry.

Training And Support

Most of our franchise owners had no previous property management experience. Our team includes property managers, marketing professionals, accountants, and business coaches who provide training and on-going expert advice. In addition, an intranet accessible only to our franchise owners includes a detailed operations manual and a library of over 500 forms, checklists, and job aids. State of the art operating systems, streamlined processes, an intranet available only to our franchise owners, and monthly scorecards make our offices efficient and productive. Standardization allows us to monitor performance of each office relative to similar offices so we can provide best practices. A complete set of marketing tools are ready for you to use, including a custom website, several videos, numerous presentations and sales scripts, online and print advertising, brochures, direct mail, broadcast advertising and client newsletters. Using Brand Central, items are customizable for each franchise. Our world-class marketing also includes national public relations, publication of quarterly rental market statistics, media rates and performance data for broadcast media, research on rental property owners attitudes and perceptions, and a database of information about 14,000,000 prospective property investor clients.
