Jon B Roman is the Owner and Managing Partner of Transworld Business Advisors of Atlanta North, an award-winning brokerage firm specializing in business sales, acquisitions, and exit planning. He leads a team of experienced brokers supported by operations, financial analysis, and marketing professionals who work together to guide buyers and sellers through complex transactions.
Since founding the Atlanta North office in 2014, Jon and his team have overseen the successful sale of more than 270 businesses across a wide range of industries, including services, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, and franchise systems. Through these transactions, he has gained extensive experience navigating the financial, operational, and emotional complexities involved in transferring business ownership.
Selling a business is rarely a simple financial transaction. It involves critical decisions around valuation, timing, deal structure, and confidentiality, while balancing the expectations of buyers, sellers, lenders, and advisors. Jon’s perspective is shaped by a career that spans investment banking, entrepreneurship, and advisory work. Early in his career he worked with Lehman Brothers, gaining exposure to financial markets and corporate finance. He later participated in several investment banking and M&A advisory teams before becoming an entrepreneur himself, building and operating businesses prior to focusing on business brokerage and advisory services.
