Jose Torres is the We Sell Restaurants Franchise partner for the Miami East market which includes Brickell, Downtown Miami, Miami Beach, Midtown Miami, Edgewater, North Bay Village and Miami Shores portions of Miami.

For over a decade, Jose has been a Franchise Owner and Consultant with FranNet in South Florida, a leading franchise consulting firm with over 55 offices in North America and Canada, where he has advised and helped aspiring entrepreneurs, executives in transition and investors realize the benefits and opportunities that franchising offers. His specialty is in helping individuals find winning franchise concepts and assisting existing franchises expand and grow their franchise brand with qualified operators and investor groups.

Prior to joining FranNet, he served as an advisor, investor and operating partner for early stage companies who franchised their business concepts in the food and beverage sector. During his 25+ year career, Jose has also held domestic and international senior executive positions in Fortune 500 firms in the consumer goods and food product sectors.

His desire to expand into the business brokerage side of industry brought him to restaurant brokerage. His skills as a franchise broker and business developer, combined with the knowledge of the Miami small business market, will enhance his ability to assist those buying or selling restaurants in his franchise territory. He has completed the curriculum and field training required to earn the distinction of Certified Restaurant Broker® and is one of a select group nationwide with this industry-specific title. He is a licensed real estate sales associate in the state of Florida.

Jose has an MBA from the Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, MA and an undergraduate degree in food marketing and distribution from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. He is an active member of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs, Minority Chamber of Commerce, International Franchise Association, and volunteer counselor with the Miami chapters of SCORE and the Small Business Development Center.

When not working, Jose together with his wife, are avid travelers and foodies and enjoy exploring domestic and international destinations while discovering new culinary experiences.
