Training & Support
In 2022, we developed French Florist University. This LMS (Learning Management System) is an online training program for both franchisees and florists. It includes over 200 videos and dozens of training modules with quizes to ensure candidates are retaining the information. In addition, we host 3-day in-person training classes for both franchisees and their florists.
History
The French Florist story began in 1978 in Los Angeles. Over the years, French Florist has blossomed into a renowned name in the world of floristry. Our commitment to service, quality, and a memorable customer experience has helped us gain a loyal following and establish ourselves a premier floral brand.
In 2018, Michael Jacobson bought the original French Florist from his Uncle Steve. At that time, the original location was doing about $900,000 a year in revenue (about 3 times the average flower shop). Approximately 4 years later, after investing heavily in software development (to run the business more efficiently) and marketing (to drive more online orders) that location did over $6 Million in revenue.
In 2023, we opened 2 more locations in the Southern CA area as proof of concept. Both of those shops did over $800,000 in revenue their first year and continue to see significant growth. At the same time, we launched the French Florist franchise concept. In the past 2 years, we've sold 50 territories in markets throughout the U.S.
