History
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® started in the early 1980s as a way for two brothers to make extra money while they were in high school. Now, 40 years later, the company has grown to more than 500 locations worldwide. Brothers, Brig Sorber and Jon Sorber, started moving people in the Lansing area using an old pickup truck. When the brothers went away to attend school their mom, Founder Mary Ellen Sheets, kept the company going. Sheets hand-drew the company’s logo which she submitted to a local newspaper for advertising; the logo continues to be a staple for the brand and is still seen on all trucks, buildings, and advertisements to this day.
