Dave is an associate broker with PureWest Real Estate in Kalispell. His experience includes over 20 years representing buyer and sellers of both residential and commercial properties. His market knowledge and listening skills enable him to match people with properties that fit their needs. As a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Dave has the ability to help clients evaluate the investment potential of commercial or residential income properties. Dave understands the nuances of the Northwest Montana real estate market — whether it’s waterfront property on Flathead Lake, ski-in/ski-out property on Whitefish Mountain, a cozy home on Kalispell’s East Side, or other properties throughout the Flathead Valley. His clients can tell you that his services have helped them make prudent, informed decisions in the face of unstable, fast-changing market conditions. Dave’s experience and qualifications include: Vice President, Director of Business Development and Director of Education — Coldwell Banker Wachholz & Co.; Graduate of the CCIM Institute,; Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees — University of Oregon; Undergraduate study at Rutgers University and Colegio de Espana, Salamanca, Spain. Dave lived and worked in Vancouver, BC; Tanzania, East Africa; Queensland, Australia; and Ashland, Oregon before settling in the Flathead Valley in 1993.

Dave's secret weapon is his full-time assistant, Terri Rasmussen. In 2004, Terri earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing, along with a minor degree in Communications, from Fresno Pacific University in California. Soon after graduation, Terri entered the world of real estate. Through 2010, she served as head of the administrative support team for Coldwell Banker Wachholz & Company, the then largest real estate firm in northwest Montana and one of the largest Coldwell Banker franchises in the United States. Terri’s role was to ensure that the 120 agents were given the best client support available, assist with the company’s superior agent training program, and oversee contract review and compliance. Terri then spent 2011 through 2015 providing administrative support to a Calgary real estate broker, coordinating his client support and marketing efforts. She also had an integral role in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures, forms and marketing for two Alberta new home building companies. Terri’s strong real estate background has provided her with a clear understanding of the importance of customer support. She works diligently to ensure that our clients are given the highest priority. She communicates clearly and efficiently to ensure that all aspects of the marketing plan are superior, accurate and delivered in a timely manner. Terri first met Dave when he was her high school year book advisor at Flathead High School in 1998-2000 and worked with him again at Coldwell Banker after college. Their long term friendship and working relationship has helped them develop a strong, well-balanced partnership in which they can both bring their best strengths to the table and work together as a driving force for their clients.
