Flatiron Ventures was founded in 1994 and acquired by the current owner in 1997. Since then, we have sold a wide variety of privately owned businesses in many different industries from attorneys to welding. (A to Z in other words!) Our guiding principle is that we need to understand how the business makes money. We're not very good at selling nebulous concepts or unproven ideas. We pride ourselves on really getting to know and understand the business and attempt to present the opportunity in the best way. We are very strong in accounting and financial analysis and ways to better illustrate the business opportunity. We don't take accept every possible listing that is offered to us, but when we accept an engagement, we do our best to achieve the owner's goals.
